META:CONTENT

is an ongoing project that features untitled video stills captured from the artist’s layered video pieces and VJ loop creations. The resulting still-captures depict the experimentation, visual allusions, and manipulations from the artist. With pause, illuminated is a time-based nature: often caught between motion, glitching, and fragmenting these become something entirely independent and new.

Started in 2015 this project continues to grow.

AI Experimentation

I began to expand META:CONTENT with the incorporation of AI/ML during my time as a BeFantastic Together Fellow in 2021. These are works created through a mix of artificial intelligence and video art techniques. With machine learning, I created new landscapes styled after my video art stills. Through video mixing, editing, and animating, these image sets culminate together into new video art pieces or GIFs; either as standalone works or loops to be used in my VJ performances.

Machine Vision comprises of AI interpretations of my untitled video art stills. Keeping to the meta-theme; said interpretations were then further iterated across AI platforms, morphing & shifting. This project was then printed as a limited edition run. It was distributed during Miami Art Week/Art Basel Miami in 2022, functioning as an art object & business card, shuffling analog with digital; DIY with spectacle.
